During my stay in Florida I will be staying with Robin (can't wait Robin!!!!). Her husband Christer, my dearest friend, my angel, my mentor, passed away last year in cancer. On Monday, Robin and I will go to his favorite restaurant and celebrate his birthday. I'm so glad we will be able to do this together. You and I Robin. Love!
The fact is cancer makes no zense at all!
It is just cruel. Meaningless. Plain out sucks!
But what happens around cancer might bring some zense into this world.
Cancer unites people. It reminds us that life is right here and now. That we simply can not put off 'till tomorrow what we can love and enjoy today. We simply must learn to treasure the gift of life every morning - otherwise what is the point?
I read somewhere that these were Steve Job's last words. Perhaps even during his last moment he managed to invent something we all would like to buy into: faith!
Before embarking, he’d looked at his sister Patty, then for a long time at his children, then at his life’s partner, Laurene, and then over their shoulders past them.
Steve’s final words were:
OH WOW. OH WOW. OH WOW.
Be good to each other out there!
